About Joshua
I grew up in a family where we not only loved films, but we loved how they were made. It was never enough to simply watch a movie, we had to know what went into it. My early cinema love affairs were Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and when I saw Jurassic Park on opening weekend I was hooked on film making and all the possibilities therein.
I have been writing since I was 9 and acting since I was born. Recently I have enjoyed taking on many varied roles (comedic drama to action bad ass) and have written everything from subtle indie drama to grand scale dystopian tragedy.
I have also composed the music for several student films including "American Terrorist" and "Acheron." I love classic film scores and play a lot with theme and variation. The first thing I do on any film score is come up with a theme that captures the tone and content of the project. The second thing I do is come up with variations of that theme for secondary story elements.
