In 1982, Jeff Clark made his way to Los Angeles, CA to further pursue and enhance his career as a Record Producer. Upon his arrival, he became immersed in many business ventures before starting his own music video production company with partner, Alan Calzatti in 1987. Over the next 25 years Mr. Clark would gain his most solid Producing, and Directing experience, working on more than 1000 combined music videos, commercials, animations, online videos and television projects throughout many parts of the world.
As the Executive Producer of several production companies, Jeff worked with such acts as the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync earning MTV awards for Best Video of the Year as well as catapulting both groups into worldwide success. His commercial and animation experiences have brought him to work with dozens of Blue Chip brands such as Coca-Cola, General Mills, Sony PlayStation, Skechers, Toyota, L’OrĂ©al, Nescafe’ and many others.
Jeff went on to co-found the film school known as the Music Video Commercial Institute (MVCI) with former partner Alan Calzatti, bringing his ideas and most valuable production know-how to assist others in their quest for knowledge in the exciting world of Music Video and Commercial production. He later sold his interest in MVCI to pursue other interests.
After a brief year as a Producer at Google in 2005, Mr. Clark went on to work as a television creative for Al Gore’s cable TV network/social media channel, Current TV. He helped to launch the startup and as part of that team developed innovative ideas that helped the company to win two Emmys, eventually aiding in the very profitable sale of the network to Al Jazeera in 2013.
His most recent endeavor is Videobot, a video production/ad agency that streamlines the production and video marketing workflow to create multiple videos for today’s video channels – Smart TV, YouTube, Social Media and Mobile devices. Videobot has already created over 500 videos in more than 50 destinations worldwide and it’s just getting started. Jeff is now taking this latest venture toward a brand new multi-screen audience online, on their mobile devices and into the future.
