I dreamed of a career in acting from when i was very young but i was too shy to put myself out there. As a teenager i was really into special effects and how they were done. I wanted to be a 3D animator when college time came around and ended up with a BA in Communication Art. Currently my day (survival) job is web design for pages, sites, and web apps. I took some Improv classes with the Coalition Theater around 2010/2011 to get out of my comfort zone. I performed at Comedy Sportz Richmond for a couple of years. Currently i'm performing at the Coalition Theater in our house team: the Johnsons (it' s not a dick joke.) I travel with the Coalition Theater Touring Company and sometimes work the main stage formats. Since i got so into improv and i saw the people around me working in commercials and such i was inspired to be an actor again. My job at the time wasn't flexible enough for me to pursue my dream but i told myself, if anything should happen that i lose my job i'm going to give it a shot. A few months later i was laid off and i stuck to my promise. "Turn: Washington's spies" was just about to begin principal photography here in my home town so i got myself in as background and tried to work as many days as i could. I made friends, found networks an started applying for principal roles in the show, and taking classes in the craft. When the second season rolled around i submitted for a co-star role and made it into the show. Around the same time i started working with Lionheart Filmworks performing in historical documentaries that have been aired on the American Heroes Channel, and Fox News Channel. I've picked small roles in a lot of the local student films and feature projects such as "the 19th" and "RUN," as well as 2 years working on Double Take's submissions for the last 2 years. I feel like i'm growing and i'm getting good experience and networking here in town. I would like to go bigger but it's tough around here. We'll see what the future holds.
