I was diagnosed with cancer, multiple myeloma in February of 2021, did the pre chemo, then the real chemo with stem cell transplant, which knocked me into semi remission, currently doing a different sort of follow up treatment, but I’m back at the gym and working. Doing training videos for the NTC of the DOE, dept of energy. Just finished writing and acting in a horror comedy short my daughter directed. I just began entering it in festivals. It has been accepted in three, won honorable mention in two. I’m proud of our first film my daughter and I made together. And working with her was a real bonus.
I've has been acting since March 2014. After I'd retired from my "day job," and felt I had nothing to lose! I'm also a published writer of short stories in various genres, and I'm a member of the Horror Writers Association. (HWA) I've been an actor in full length features, television series, commercials, and many short films. I've received best actor awards in several film festivals, and been a main character in some award winning short films. I've traveled extensively in Europe, (Iceland: Expensive, Croatia: Not!) North America, the Caribbean and Australia/New Zealand, and I like to think it has had an affect on my writing, and acting.
