Originally from Lacrosse, WI, Paxton uprooted and moved to Los Angeles, CA looking for work in the stunt industry. She successfully completed all coursework and received a Certificate of Completion from the International Stunt School--based out of Seattle, WA--as well as rewarded with an Apprenticeship in the United Stuntmen's Association August of 2016.
While attending the International Stunt School, she had the honor to work underneath David Boushey. The curriculum included: western combat fighting, martial arts, knife disarm, gun disarm, stair falls, mini trampoline, wrecks, fire burn, stunt driving, high falls up to 40ft into an air bag, air ram, aerial wirework (included slacklining, work with a ratchet and decelerator, and aerial apparatuses such as ladder, hoop, silk, netted silk, and chains), parkour, rappelling, essential knots and basic knowledge of rigging*.
She was initially inspired to do stunts because her moped topped out at 32 mph, which just was not enough. She began to learn various tricks, which then progressed her to the understanding of a stunt career in the works.
She has prior experience with rappelling, snowboarding, downhill and long distance longboarding (up to 16 miles in a day), BMX racing, moped tricking, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She has recently gotten into skateboarding and is becoming more familiar with tricks. She can also speak double-talk, some Spanish and some French.
