This project will document the personalities, history, and traditions of the world's toughest canoe race while it follows Jeff, a larger-than-life, big and brash jokester as he paddles from San Marcos to Sea Drift with his wits, a few bottles of water, minimal training, and a significant amount of grit. All because his friends said he couldn't. Although Jeff has participated in triathlons, half marathons , and the 100 mile Nijmegen race in previous years, participation in the Safari may prove to be his undoing. Can his pride and determination overcome years of beer and cigarettes? One thing is for certain. Whether or not Jeff is able to make it, this is going to be funny.
