About Steven

Hello - I am Steve from PERTH Australia. I wear a few different hats and have immersed myself in numerous roles for over 10 years now. Firstly I am an acting teacher and actor. I have worked as a composer for advertising, short films and 1 feature. I am also a media producer, mainly producing music video productions for local and international artists. I have just currently launched my own theatre company and am in the process of directing, writing and musically directing upcoming shows. I love all aspects of creative processes and I love helping and developing opportunities for young actors and helping them grow as performers in the projects I produce and classes I teach. I am passionate and highly committed and bring a range of creative skills to comedy and dramatic projects. Two of my most ambitious projects to date have been a comedy pilot "Search for the Deadliest Rokstarr" in which I have written, produced, directed and acted in comedic 2 roles. A second ambitious venture is a full stage comedy musical in which has been we are currently producing. I have written the script, produced and composed all the songs and have directed 2 of the shows to date. We are currently investing in a larger - scale version of the show, a larger budget for a bigger venue. I have also written and performed many comedy web series which can be viewed on my profile. Unique traits: I am versatile as a comedic and dramatic performer. I can mimic the likes of jim carey but also perform in method acting styles of Johnny Depp. I have observant eye for performance and aesthetics because of my extensive background in music, theatre, education, film and media. I can write pop songs, ambient and electro trance, musical theatre songs. I can write (and have written) theatrical plays, and also direct and coach actors. I have an extreme expressive and energetic style of teaching and have been applauded for engaging and inspiring many young students and young performers in colleges and theatre productions.
