Andrew Piland is an award-winning American film score composer and music producer who’s well-versed in a large assortment of genres. He has crafted music that aims to take listeners on a journey through emotional experiences. His career has included multiple collaborations with artists and directors, as well as the likes of Jimmy Wayne, Easy McCoy, and Tina Parol.
Originally growing up in south-eastern Virginia, Andrew now resides in Nashville, TN. Inspired by the styles of composers like Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino, Ludwig Göransson, and Max Richter, Andrew has been able to craft musical scores for multiple short films, documentaries, and other media projects.
Along with scoring, Andrew’s music has been utilized with television networks such as A&E, TBS, the Discovery Channel, FOX Sports, NBC, and PBS. In between his time working on new pieces, he also enjoys cheering on his home sport's teams, woodworking, drinking coffee with his wife, Sam, and spending time with his dog, Maverick.
