About Andy

I discovered my love of acting growing up in a Chicago suburb with a starring role in a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta in middle school and continued in theatre in high school and college with roles in musicals and dramas including Henry Higgins in “My Fair Lady” and Joe Ferone in “Up the Down Staircase”. More recently I've branched out from the stage to television and film with principal roles in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, “The Lost Valentine”, the ABC crime docu-drama series, “Final Witness”, and Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Witness Protection” as well as commercials. Nollywood USA has provided me with unique opportunities in three movies by actor/director Robert Peters including a starring role in “Stolen”. My current projects include entering the sci-fi realm with episodes in the upcoming web series, “Doctor Who – The Forgotten Doctor” and a leading role in an episode of Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural".

While my look tends to get me cast as the businessman, doctor, lawyer or detective, I'd love a chance with a more sinister character to stretch myself beyond the realm of the serious and level-headed. On the flip side, I'm also very interested in working on a faith/inspirational project. Regardless of role, my passion is for breathing life into a character who starts out as words on a page and becomes an authentic, relatable person through me. When I'm not acting, I'm busy as a husband and father of five, including children adopted from Ethiopia and China, as well as a career business executive which have resulted in a multitude of life experiences that provide a realistic cache to pull from in my acting.
