His Washington State Film/TV projects have earned him a windfall of support from his state legislators, civic leaders, regional businesses and led him to organizing the first ever Native American Tribal business partnership in Independent Film within Western Washington.

A frequent speaker, panelist, instructor and/or regular guest at Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW and Seattle International Film Festivals including the American Film Market; his messages, workshops and industry insight focuses on helping artists and professionals connect commerce with creativity is cutting edge and blazing the trail for Indie filmmakers around the world on how to finance films and creative projects. His unique style and industry knowledge empowers, inspires and educates both veteran and emerging filmmakers on the importance of understanding and applying effective business mechanics to all Film/TV/Web visual creative endeavors.

As the Creative Director at Capestany Films with presence in the Pacific Northwest, Southern California and European markets, Scott's highly recognized producing skills include aligning international organizations, sponsors, business affiliates and regional communities with his productions. His team specializes in developing content and working with emerging writers, filmmakers and talent from inception to completion.

As an actor, Scott hosts his own Adventure travel TV shows NW Waters and Island Getaways TV. His commercial and TV/Film roles as a detective, attorney, physician and special agent have also earned him special recognition.

As a writer, Scott is the senior features writer for Media, Inc. Magazine. A premier regional media print/digital publication. His editorials have appeared on national media publishing platforms. He also is a highly acclaimed story creator of multiple Film/TV series pilots, feature films and commercials.

His producing work in the non-commercial and non-profit sectors have earned him international awards for excellence that enhance world perspectives on social issues such as Missing Children, Homelessness and Women in Film. He has created, hosted and produced multiple LIVE Public TV shows that have highlighted a variety of community activities and regional organizations in Washington State.

Scott is the founder and Executive Director of the Peninsula International Film Festival. Launching Summer 2017, his endeavor will feature films from 25+ countries and over 75 + films from filmmakers from all 50 US States.

He has a life-long appreciation for films that expand and enhance the world view regarding topics and events that empower, inspire and promote well- being, health and community. His advocacy for Women in Film and Equality throughout his industry is well known and respected.

When not engaged with his career, Scott enjoys spending his personal time traveling the world's rivers in search of distant river Fly-fishing locations and photographing nature's beauty.

Scott has a life-long appreciation for films that expand and enhance the world view regarding topics and events that inspire, encourage and promote well-being and unity. When not engaged with his career, Scott enjoys spending his personal time often amongst a remote Rainforest along the shores of a distant River Fly-fishing while chasing some of the world’s most elusive Steelhead and Salmon species and photographing nature’s beauty including his love of a multitude of avionic species (birds).
