At nine years old Carlos A. Hiciano spent most of his free time drawing and dreaming of growing up to be an animator. He’s always been the creative type. Growing older, and staying young at heart, his love for art transpired and he discovered the beauty of filmmaking and photography in high-school. Winning awards and recognitions for his creative work inspired him to continue his craft through college where his creativity branched in all directions. He’s created short films, photography and independently started a rock band. He taught himself how to sing and play guitar and has learned an extensive amount of knowledge in audio production along the way.
Most recently, Carlos’ short film “the thin line” won the Tunxis short film festival in 2014. His short screenplay for “Ten Second Barrier” was produced and screened at the “2015 Dominican film festival “ in NYC.
Today, Carlos’ goal is to create projects that are enjoyable for himself and others as he inspires people to be creative. Along the way, he hopes to perfect his craft of filmmaking and telling compelling stories.
He hopes to reach a wider audience, collaborate and inspire those around him to perpetuate the infectious good feeling of creative inspiration!
His goal in simple terms :: Collaborate. Create. Inspire. Repeat.
