Dayna Noffke is a WGA writer and director whose character-driven horror and dark comedy work is fueled by gallows humor and a desire for connection. Her unique voice has been described as "Wednesday Addams meets Mrs. Maisel," and her female-forward work is informed by diverse life experiences - from cocktail waitressing to teaching special ed, fieldwork in Nicaragua, a short roller derby career, and beyond!
Dayna is particularly drawn to tales of survival and of complex family dynamics. Her favorite stories sit at the intersection of the beautiful and the horrific. A few of her recent spec scripts include a J-horror feature, a a time-bending supernatural slasher, and a tale of Anne Boleyn and Tudor witchcraft.
Dayna's previous writing credits include a staff writing position on a WGA new media series, multiple short films, and horror content for Japanese animation studio, Plott Tokyo. Her darkly beautiful short films have screened at festivals throughout the world.
