Born and raised in the Boston area, I attended Emerson College, where I majored in Mass Communications. I started working in local cable after graduation and within a few years transitioned to TV news at WHDH-TV in Boston as a news photog/editor. During that first year I went from the overnight shift to pushing the creative envelope for our special projects unit, and a few months later I was hired full-time in the WHDH Creative services department as a post-production editor. I worked at our sister station WSVN in Miami for nearly two years before returning to WHDH, where I have been ever since. In 2007 I was promoted to Editing Supervisor in our Creative department. I currently supervise an amazing staff of editors who along with a great team of designers and producers generate some of the finest promos and creative content in local news.
Unique traits: I am also an acoustic guitarist, a singer-songwriter, and I make a hell of a burger.
