Originally from New York City and an alumnus of The Stella Adler Acting Studio and Brooklyn College, Edoardo Miranda is an award-winning American actor and writer who developed an unwavering passion for acting and writing from an early age. He was raised in Milan, where, after a screenwriting workshop held by screenwriter Umberto Contarello and an acting workshop held by film director Andrea Costantini, he was advised to pursue acting professionally in the United States. Born Edoardo Nicholas Bianchi, Edoardo changed his stage name to Edoardo Miranda to honor his grandmother Miranda Bramani, an avid movie lover.
His main film credits include Sal De Leon in For: LiLa, for which he won a number of acting awards including Best Actor at the Best Film Awards and the Independent Shorts Awards; Peter The Disciple in Eating with the Enemy, narrated by Kevin Sorbo; and The Fox in The Fox (2023) along actor Kazy Tauginas. Main theater credits Maestro in Steven Fisher's Broadway show The Last Boy at The Town Hall, and Marco in the Off-Broadway show Arrivals, directed by Art Feinglass. Edoardo has written, produced and directed the play Goodville, accepted at the New York Theater Festival, Winterfest 2020; and he is the author of the semi-autobiographical novel The Boy Who Laughs.
His commercial, print and modeling bookings include clients being Adidas, Steinway & Sons, Johnson & Johnson, Brooklyn Nets, painter Kehinde Wiley, photographer David Yarrow, and band Latin Mafia among the many. Edoardo’s distinctive and multicultural background also includes polyglotism, suicide prevention hotline volunteering, poetry, and martial arts.
