currently seeking a skilled Television & Film Editor Partner to join our creative team.
**Job Description:**
As the Television & Film Editor Partner, you will play a vital role in shaping the final product by editing
footage to create a cohesive and engaging narrative. You will work closely with directors and producers to
ensure that each project meets our high standards of quality and storytelling.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished final products for television shows, documentaries, and
films.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and creative vision.
- Select and arrange scenes, ensuring proper pacing, transitions, and audio synchronization.
- Incorporate visual effects, sound design, and music to enhance the storytelling experience.
- Review and provide feedback on edits, making adjustments as necessary based on team input.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques to continuously improve skills and output.
*Skills Required:**
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer).
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of color grading and sound editing is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an editor in television or film production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your
work.
- Familiarity with post-production workflows and processes.
- Previous experience in a collaborative production environment is a plus.
**Compensation:**
This position offers a unique revenue-sharing compensation structure, where the Television & Film Editor
Partner will receive a 5% revenue share of all projects worked on. Revenue will be based on new
subscription sales generated from the distributed project, with payouts made on a monthly basis, 60 days
after each project release.
