I’m seeking a producer, director, and financier interested in unique, visually striking settings with a strong theatrical heartbeat — After Cartlandia is a completed feature-length screenplay that explores a crime story with a spiritual fantasy ending.

Genre: Metaphysical Drama / Spiritual Fantasy

Tone: Visually majestic, philosophically rich, and emotionally resonant, blending the epic scale of the afterlife with the intimate tragedy of human existence.

Logline: A murdered bisexual artist’s journey through the afterlife forces him to consciously choose a harsh new incarnation—only to uncover that his death was a tragic mercy, born of love.

Set primarily in Tijuana and Mexico City, an orphan rises from misery to fame as a celebrated artist. But his connections to underground communities and dangerous friendships lead to his murder. From beyond the grave, his spirit guides us through the mysteries of death, the afterlife, and rebirth.

Budget: This is a low-budget project with limited locations, designed for efficient production while retaining ambitious sci-fi elements and selective CGI.
