The series explores the nuances of young Black identity—power, contradiction, cultural memory, and the quiet negotiations of growing up. If you’re drawn to character-driven stories with layered social and emotional stakes, this room is for you. If you're a fan of shows like This is Us, A Different World, Grand Army, or The Get Down, we want to hear from you. We are looking for writers who think deeply, are observant, honest, and aren't afraid of complexity.
