Joe E. Ironstand is an Ojibway filmmaker, writer and alumni of the National Screen Institute’s New Voices program, and the Weengushk Film Institute's Lab 1 & Lab 2. Ironstand’s first film Inheritance won Best Student Film at the 14th Annual Native American Film and Video Festival of the Southeast. Ironstand works for RS Talent Search, The Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival, Colossal Entertainment & Canadian Urban Television, and unofficially founded his own production company Nightstand Films.
