About Jacob
I'm a nontraditional aspiring writer-director near Pittsburgh, PA. I'm getting a late restart as a filmmaker. (I fell on my face in LA, lost my confidence, went home, and got stuck in life and filmmaking for much longer than I'd like to admit.) I joined Stage 32 because I would like to meet people who are wiser and more experienced than me.
My immediate goals are to learn more about filmmaking and the industry, and to start moving forward again in life and filmmaking. I plan to focus on regional filmmaking for now, and then possibly make my way back to LA someday. My long-term goal is to start a company that develops, produces, and distributes low-budget horror and comedy features and web series at a professional level.
