Film by Paul Richards (Comedy) self Quitting his job to become a session drummer, Paul Richards embarks on an unexpectedly glorious adventure into uncharted musical territory. Under the impression that drummers are hard to come by, he auditions for every band, solo artist and even comedian he can find. He gets sacked by everybody; from comedy legend Arthur Smith to rock stars Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Frank Turner, John Otway, Graham Parker, Heaven 17, Nik Kershaw and many more. But will his relationship survive? As his dignity and love life both suffer, Paul soon has some difficult decisions to make: go back to working as an estate agent, or continue to live the dream of (potentially) being a rock star? A charming lo-fi romp filmed mostly on a mobile phone, this documentary-style comedy is partly based on a true story.
