About Jay

I have worked as a professional music composer, producer, and engineer for over 9 years writing music for advertising, television, and film. In 2011, I opened Mirrortone Studios production and recording facility in Manhattan with my production partner Roman Molino Dunn. We record and produce albums with commercial recording artists, write music for commercials, TV, and film, and offer post-production services including sound design, foley, and mixing.

Unique traits: I play guitar, bass, piano, sax, clarinet, and synth programming. My main musical influences are Jonny Greenwood, Trent Reznor, The Beatles, Ennio Morricone, Arvo Pårt, and Richard Wagner. As a partner at Mirrortone Studios I have access to a world-class studio and a deep roster of session musicians available to use for my composition work.
