Born in Los Angeles, raised in Toronto, and currently residing in Nashville, newcomer Jen Sheridan’s small independent production company Do Something Film Group produces PSAs and documentaries about the lives and rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender people. Sheridan’s short film, "I Kissed a GIRL [a documentary]" about lesbians’ first girl-kiss stories, is an official selection of the 2015 St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, and was recently released as an expanded online series with Tello Films. Now in pre-production, her newest documentary Love, Hate, Church & State shines a light on the battle for LGBT equality in Tennessee, where separation of religion and government has never truly existed.
