About João

Hello, I am João Moutinho, 27 years old and I am in the last year of cinema school.

I am based in Porto, Portugal and I've work in a Portuguese Blockbuster movie in 2014 - "Virados do Avesso", starring Diogo Morgado in the leading role.
I worked as 2nd AD in Pre production stage, Continuity in the Production stage and assistant Editor in the Post Production. This might look weird, but in Portugal, to get things done and to be able to work, you have to be a "allrounder".

Meanwhile, I am trying to focus my "carreer" to become a Director, and I make the "invisible" work of developing script, storyboarding and blocking Imaginary scenes every day. My hope is to turn this into Real watchable scenes.

I am eager to work anywhere in the world. I wish I could have a showreel, but the only thing I can assure, for now, is my commitment to work hard and try to get meaningfull and beautiful things done.
