About Jodie

I"m a screenwriter who gets to live in Hilton Head, SC, a paradise for writers, dimplehead golfers, and their golf widows (shopping is good here). I've written several screenplays, mostly comedy, family and marriage-friendly. I can envision Side Bets (First Wives Club meets Rat Race) being filmed right here in the Lowcountry. Check it out online. It's very special. Also, I recently finished an adaptation of an amazing true story I stumbled upon while I was in CA as a new screenwriter learning the business of making films. I met a Navajo man on set who was playing the part of a medicine man in a short film, but when he asked me to help him run lines, I asked him to tell me the story of how he went from homeless to Hollywood. Now that story became a book and a screenplay.
