Hullo!

A bit about me...

Early last year I left my finance job in London and returned to New Zealand to ride out the pandemic, support my family through a couple of changes and, reset my life.

Deep down I’ve always known I need and want to act and work in the film industry but the determination to be taken seriously and support myself after university led me down a more conservative corporate path which, although provided me with security, left me unfulfilled and unhappy. I had to make a change.

I’ve spent the last year really exploring what I want and why. I’ve built on the efforts I started back in London before and during the pandemic; writing and researching my own creative concepts along with studying multiple elements of acting, writing and, film making. Essentially, working quietly under my own steam to prepare myself to hit the ground running back overseas when the time was right.

While my journey into film is in its first act, I’ve been working towards this for years. My passion is genuine, commitment is clear and, now the NZ border has reopened I’m safe in the thought of being able to get back to my family if necessary. It’s time to make this happen.

I can’t wait to dive deeper into doing what I love surrounded by others who share that same fire.
