Lauren Conoscenti

Born and raised in Pennsylvania farmland with the closest movie theater about an hour away, I was enchanted by the box in the basement: TV. I grew up watching 1990s hits HERCULES and XENA, and I’m a big supporter of all things action/adventure. I think, because I’m from a pretty normal place, I have a special interest in the otherworldly and the fantastic.

With a fondness for television only slightly stronger than my caffeine addiction, I’m an aspiring TV Writer. I have a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and I hang my hat in Brooklyn, NY (with a growing network in Los Angeles). I currently work as a staff producer on branded content, museums, and media installations.

In September 2016, my original pilot script, GARGOYLE HIGH, was honored with the distinction of “Second Rounder” at the Austin Film Festival (top 15% of a record 9K+ submissions).
