Riffusion is now Producer.ai - and the results are impressive

As a musician and composer, I have made my own music for film / video work (and as the music writer for a synth band named RAILER).

I have been experimenting with different AI sound / music composition tools like Suno and others but so far have felt they are "Meh". Diffusion has been my favorite and now they have become "Producer.ai", where you can basically prompt a song into existence and argue with the chatbot until you get what you desire (sort of).

I had it create a song about the dystopian world we have entered where we don't know what's real or not anymore, and it churned out lyrics and a couple of versions of the tune. I had it remake the song in several different formats (Dark Britpop, Moody Synth, Fast Punk, 90's Trip-hop), remixing and featuring both male and female vocals.

Some moderation filters did get in the way and made me change lyrics or this and that, and ultimately I think it's pretty amazing that if you are bored with your playlist or Spotify / Apple Music, whatever - you can simply generate your own new songs in minutes and make your own based on a mood, an idea, a poem, a rant - it's pretty wild.

As for composing for film and production needs (commercials, etc.) - it's a viable solution to get something fast, unique, and with basic accounts, even FREE. I recommend trying it out or others just to get a feel of where things are headed.
