Black Mirror Creators to Exit Netflix-Owned Broke & Bones

Some big news coming out of Netflix, where creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones are stepping down as directors of Broke & Bones, five years after founding the company and securing investment from Netflix in a first-of-its-kind deal.

Black Mirror is a huge show that catapulted into the limelight with Netflix's help, though recent seasons have come at a slower pace, and the audience it once cultivated is having trouble with the star-filled episodes and focus on the real black mirror elements of the world. Though the show originated in the UK and maintains a blended location for its post-Netflix acquisition episodes, the reins that took on the show are Netflix, whose US division of TV shows and films is becoming strikingly different compared to its UK counterpart.

What does this mean for Netflix and its rocky relationships with filmmakers/showrunners? We've seen people turn away from Netflix at the festivals in order to attain a theater release, are show runners now turning away from the same day drop?
