Hey everyone!
I'm in Central Pennsylvania and over the past five years, we have built quite the film community. It helps that bigger studios from CA and NY productions are coming here, rather than going overseas. In previous years only 9 films a year were made here from the studios. This year alone, there are 56, 9 of which are in my neck of the woods in Central PA. Heck, I even sold my first movie at Cannes this year, which was an awesome experience. But even without all that, we've made some pretty good things.
Over the last few years, we've built quite the community of filmmakers here in my neck of the woods. Don't get me wrong, I've produced and acted in things in other places but I get to do the majority of my work here, where I live, just outside of Harrisburg PA. We've built quite the tribe here.
Having said all of that, for those of you who like making films with the same people over and over again, when do you know it's time to let someone new into the group? I love what we've been able to accomplish so far and I don't want to upset the applecart, so to speak. When do we bring in some new blood? I'd love to hear your answers!
