Seeking representation

QUESTIONFORGROUP

I'm a screenwriter from Washington DC. At 17, I spent 11 years in Federal Prison, where I discovered my love and passion for screenplay writing and film production. This experience has intensified my ability to tell compelling stories, create authentic characters, and develop marketable premises.

I've been free for four years now and have built a decent resume with little connections in the industry. I have two completed scripts, two pitch decks, two series bibles, and a notebook filled with future projects. Currently, I am seeking representation, which has proven to be a challenge. I've taken every piece of advice, explored various platforms including Blcklist, LinkedIn, IMDb Pro, and Stage32.

Notably, my script SWAMPHILL was a quarterfinalist in the Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival and received an Honorary Mention at the A Royal Chance Film Festival. It has been praised for its authenticity, remarkable characters, and potential storylines. My time in a United States Federal Penitentiary has significantly shaped my storytelling abilities, particularly in crafting strong character arcs.

While I may not have the big-time connections for a referral to a management agency, I am a hard worker and constantly write. If anyone can assist me or represent me as an agent, I would greatly appreciate it.
