Screenwriting : "The Oracle" Political Satire by Rick Alan Rice (rar)

Hello - I have posted my screenplay "The Oracle" on my Stage32 site with the hopes than anyone vaguely interested in a Washington D.C.-based production might have a look. This play is smart and funny, with bristling crisp dialog and plot turns that will surprise and enthrall. In the spirit of "Wag the Dog", "The Oracle" offers insight into the most pressing policy issues of our day, plus a few others. It presents a storyline that is thought provoking, compelling, funny while also portraying a solution-depleted government in a way that is quite frightening. It is a keenly observant satire that effectively captures the political zeitgeist of our time. I would like to find an agent to represent the work, or an independent producer who might see it as an opportunity to develop an actor-driven vehicle, production of which would only require a handful of low-overhead locations, some D.C. street photography, and a convincing set of the Oval Office.
