Hello Stage 32ers: I'm posting from my workroom in a small town in Israel called Tzur Yitzhak, about 30 kilometers north of Tel Aviv, where I am working on the screenplay for my novel "Train in the Distance" - an anti-apartheid journalists' search for truth, freedom...and revenge.

Based on my experiences as a journalist in South Africa in the 1970s, it tells how the fight against apartheid flings two young men from different cultural and community backgrounds, but with shared hopes and dreams for a better South Africa, in tragically different directions.
I am 80% through Draft 2 of the screenplay (still a long way to go!), sections of which have already been submitted to a major local production company for consideration. I have assembled an international team of creatives in Israel, the US, and South Africa to help bring this exciting story to the TV screen.
