About Michelle

Michelle Muldoon is a dual national citizen (Canada and the UK) Writer/Director and Filmmaker. She has written and directed six short form projects including Last Stand to Nowhere (2019) which garnered six awards during an international festival run that included the exclusive Almeria Western Film Festival in Spain; the home of the Sergio Leone classics. The film exhibited for two months at the Museum of the Southwest in Texas.

In 2019, Michelle produced the feature film Puppet Killer and is currently an associate producer on the feature film 13 Miles.

As a Board Member of Women In Film and Television Vancouver, Michelle created the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival Screenplay Competition, as well as created and taught an Introductory Screenwriting Workshop for Raindance Vancouver, a Chapter of the Raindance Film Festival.

In 2020, Michelle Muldoon was one of eight Canadian women selected to attend the Women In the Director’s Chair (WIDC) Story & Leadership Program and the Whistler Film Festival WIDC Industry Immersion. In 2021, Michelle returned to the Whistler Film Festival as a recipient of the Women in Focus Mentorship Program.

Michelle’s storytelling is inspired by childhood memories of watching film and television with her father on snowy cold Canadian Sundays.
