I love writing and I love crafting stories.
I have been writing creatively since I was 14 years old. I started out with a couple of short plays before diving into writing my first novel. Since then, I have written creatively just for the fun of it. Nothing too serious. However, I am now at a stage in my life where I want to write professionally and still have fun.
Prior to reaching this point, I studied Law at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom and worked in various business industries. I also ran a number of small businesses.
As a writer, I am drawn to writing stories about characters that audiences can relate to. I am not too stuck on writing for a specific genre because I love a good challenge that pushes me out of my comfort zone. What matters to me is that my stories make sense and have a lasting impact on the audience that comes across it.
I have just completed my first script which is a short suspense/thriller short film. I have ideas for a number of scripts that I am also working on. While this is all so exciting, I realize that I still need to keep improving and working on my craft. That is why I am keen to connect with other screenwriters, producers and creatives within the industry that I can collaborate with as I work to keep developing.
I am very open minded and I love to collaborate and brain storm ideas. If you have a script idea you need to develop or need to brainstorm around, I am here to help! If you just need another screenwriting buddy to bounce ideas off of, I am also here. I am all about the craft, positivity and supporting each other. If anything I have written has struck you or made you curious, reach out! I love meeting new people!
