I hadn't pitched in months, and I wasn't particularly happy with my pitch since I had read a million different pieces of advice before doing it. With a short call to Joey, he told me it should be twice as long. For a sci-fi writer, that was a breath of fresh air. Sure, my revamped pitch took seven minutes to get through (I'll work on that), but it was requested by Kristy Maurer of Endgame Entertainment. Now here's hoping they like the screenplay as much as the pitch, because getting the thumbs up from the company behind Looper would be amazeballs.
