Introduce Yourself : The Glass ceiling by Kevin Mathurin

The Glass ceiling

Hi I'm a very impatient guy. I feel that i have paid my dues when it comes to this business. I have been with my current agent for over a year and work hasn't been consistent, but it was expected. Because this year we both decided to choose wisely and go for less commercials and submit for more roles in TV, theatre and film. I've seen a lot of roles which i would be perfect for, yet failed to even get called for an audition. This has made me feel a little insecure at times. It has been a general consensus in London that if you are not with the bigger Acting agents, casting directors don't give you a look in. I don't want to keep jumping agents every time i have a quiet patch, but i see oppurtunities passing me by and it's getting me very frustrated..... what are your thoughts?
