Introduce Yourself : Actor/Director/Writer from Toronto (who also does photo/video production for others too!) by Emily Schooley

Hi everyone, Great to meet so many lovely faces here. :) As the title says, I do a little bit of everything - I started as an actor, and more recently I am stepping behind the camera as writer and director to tell my own stories. Right now I am actually crowdfunding for a short film called Reset: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/reset--7/x/7641 My film is about a young lesbian woman named Charlie, who faces both a cancer diagnosis and the struggle of being in love with her straight best friend, Mara. It features three strong female leads, and I am directing it, with the intention of sending the finished film off to international film festivals when it's done. If you liked Eternal Sunshine and/or The Fault in Our Stars, you'd love this film!
