Hi, My name is Monica and I've been working in and out of the industry for over twenty years. I started out in sales, then worked in Affiliate Relations at CBS in New York. My dream was to move to Los Angeles and work in production, so in 1993 I took the plunge, packed up the car and drove out to LA. While I was there I worked in three films: The Stoned Age (Craft Service), Leprechaun 2 (PA) and Casa Hollywood (Loader). The 1994 Northridge earthquake hit and I made a decision I regretted. I moved back to New Jersey. I miss LA terribly, but in addition to that I struggled finding work in the field. So I've been away from the industry for a while, though still keeping my ear to the ground and keeping up with what's been happening through the years. I did work on a short film in 1995 called Boulevard Cafe as an Assistant Camera Person. The DP was amazed at my skills as a focus puller. A frustrated actress, I had chosen film production because I thought it would be more lucrative, and because I happen to love all aspects of creating a film, from the writing to the directing to the performance, to the post production, etc. Sometimes I can't decide what job suits me best as I love them all. Right now I'm delving into voice over work I have a few demos on my page if you want to take a listen. Thanks for reading. Hope to hear from you. Take care.
