To make the best of this network i think we should provide information on festivals. I'm from BRAZIL and i recently participate in a GERMANY award and i won. So if you from North, Central or South America, Europe in general or ASIA we should unite to make the most of all festivals, i suggest to open not a thread but a entire area just for festivals, doeasnt matter if it is short, long, doc or tv as long is a FESTIVAL. So to open that concept her it goes: Rio de Janeiro is turning 450 years old and theres a festival about that, a 6 minutes short about the rio de janeiro. the prize? 40k reais its about 17k us dollars to produce the short. And a plus, if you interested i can provide all that you need to make the entry in the award, its free :) the deadline its pretty tight tough until 23FEB. But hey its a festival and a iniciative.
