I'm Nick, a freelance sound editor/designer in New York, NY. If there's a category that's a step below Movie Buff, I would fall into it. I love movies. I've been doing postproduction sound for just over 10 years, always trying for more, bigger, better, badder stuff. I'm currently non-union, but wouldn't mind in the slightest if that were to change. I've got a number of credits that I am proud of, as well as a few credits I would be proud(er) of, were I able to take credit for them. Oh, union regulations... Additionally, I'm an adjunct professor teaching audio post and video game audio to groups of burgeoning producers and hit makers. I am always on the look for something to be a part of; the more passionate the people behind the project, the more I want to take part in making it the best thing possible. It's a pleasure making your acquaintance.

Hey Nick! Love this post and the energy behind it. And congratulations to you for paying it forward by teaching. I'd love if you could bring your 10 years of experience over to the POST PRODUCTION section of the Stage 32 Lounge and share any insights or content you feel might help other members of the community. So great to have you here, my friend.

Thank you! I'll head over that way. As much as I'd enjoy sharing, I'd love to learn from others who've been doing it longer.
That's what the Lounge is all about, Nick. Sharing, collaborating, assisting and healthy debate!
