Introduce Yourself : Starting Anew by Michael Arvelo

As this site has just asked what's on my mind, it has just hit me that perhaps the answer to that question is "far too much". That being said, hello everyone! I'm currently living in Raleigh, NC and have recently been coming back around to my previous acting and writing background. After graduating college with my degree in Theatre, I got sucked into the corporate world for almost 9 years. I moved around from Washington, DC to Dallas, TX and spent countless hours with colleagues in New York City as much as I could. During that time I unwillingly abandoned my creative child but it has found it's way to me again like a paternity episode of Maury. It started in 2013 when I took a role in a community theatre play and continued on as my colleagues across the country have been a part of various endeavors. There is a lot left for me to learn, adapt to and experience and combined with what I do know, have observed, and am capable of creating, I look forward to getting back into acting and writing. Most of all I wish everyone out there the best and hope I cross your various paths at some point in the future.
