I have written a TV pilot for a family comedy called “KINGS OF THEIR CASTLE.” I also wrote the accompanying bible - character bios, future storylines, and arcs. I can also submit two spec scripts for "The Big Bang Theory." Both specs received very positive script coverage. I don't know where to begin. I looking for representation, but it's tough getting my material anywhere near the top of the stack. I live in the L.A. area and I know a few people in the entertainment industry. Heck, I attended a screening of an upcoming FOX animation show and sat right next to the showrunner. I wrote an unsolicited cold opening for that show. Is is kosher to slide it across the table directly to the boss? I would appreciate any assistance and moral support!

enter your pilot (and specs) in TV screenwriting contests. if it's really good then it will float to the top. google and find a list: Austin Film Festival Scriptapalooza Writers Store Industry Insider --- these are what i could think of off the top of my head. there are a lot more.
