Hello, Stage 32 community. My name's Rodney Burutsa and I'm building a faith-based entertainment company on a shoe-string budget. I'm starting my business as a web-based company with various entertainment divisions. The plan is to have 1 division finance the next division until we become an entertainment company. The name of my business is Heaven's Disciples, LLC. Our entertainment divisions will include a music label, book publishing, comic book publishing, filmmaking, and video game publishing. We also maintain an online company merchandise store and a clothing label. We have already released music in online retailers and music subscription services, such as iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Play, Rhapsody, and Spotify. I am currently writing an apocalyptic novel, which I plan to branch out into a series with character spin-offs. I also want to turn the series into an entertainment franchise with comic books, graphic novels, films with soundtracks, video games, merchandise, and clothing. Glad I could help ;) We'll be upgrading the search functionality soon to make it easier to find relevant posts - but it's always good to come by every now and then and say what's on your mind - you never know who's going through the lounge at a given time.
I see that you are a C++ developer. I program in PHP/MySQL, JavaScript/AJAX, etc. It would be really great to see a member directory or member search functions that would allow me to network with people interested in a certain entertainment genre or category, such as faith-based.
