Your Stage : A new and powerful short film 'The Stray' by Shiona Penrake

Hello everyone! My dad Nic Penrake and I just launched an Indiegogo campaign for our latest short film 'The Stray', with Silvia Petkova and my younger brother Jay Penrake in the lead. It’s a deeply moving drama about a dancer down on her luck who befriends Jack a teenage boy next door. Jack is having a hard time with dad gone and mum sinking ever further into a drink problem. At first glance it seems Jack is the ‘stray’, although in the end he is the one who saves Nina the dancer who takes him in.
