Top draw Alex..Really nice work in there that really does highlight only you. Great footage quality in all of them as well. If I had one suggestion to make,I'd say swap the opening close-up dialogue scene with the second scene with the glasses. It almost plays as an introduction and we get to see your essence straight away, it highlights more of your bone structure and probably does shine you more in the light of (I'm betting ),the roles you tend to book. All the best brother and see you on set one day I hope,Mark

Nice! Really great footage and acting. Very believable performances. If I were to give any advice, it would be that I would love to see a little more of your range - it's clear what sort of character you're going for, but even those have their moments of sunlight. It doesn't have to be straight-up comedy or anything, but just a hint at moments of hopeful/marginally happy characters would be nice. -I don't have much experience in acting reels, so take what I say with a grain of salt. God bless!

Thank you for your feedback guys, It's really appreciated. Mark I was toying with changing those scenes over for ages, but as the walk in scene is only one line, I felt having something more substantial at the beginning was the best way to go, do you think its detrimental having it 2nd, rather than 1st? Thanks Richard! :-) Kyle, I understand what you mean exactly, it's been the feedback from others too, but unfortunately to date all my castings have been quite dark, or theatre, and the lighter hearted one's with footage waver in the quality of production and sound, so felt best to leave them out, and use the best quality recordings to try and secure work. Hopefully that will be more lighter stuff , that I can add to this, show more range. Thanks again guys, really appreciated.
I think the fact the clip is so short makes it not that big of a deal. We get to see more of your face right off the bat and so we know who we're looking at in the close up. It's a compelling intro and I feel it would keep me invested more in the more meaty dialogue that follows.

Sorry Abigail, I edited it slightly, made it shorter, and re-uploaded. I have changed the link now, this one should work ok. Thanks for taking the time to look, hope you enjoy and any feedback very welcome. Thanks.

Mark, I know what you mean. But it was taken from a Sitcom Pilot I did, and its played slightly tongue in cheek and can't help but see it as a slightly caricatured scene, purely because I know the context of the show itself, but can't help seeing that in it. Think it has a place in the reel, but not sure I'm 100% comfortable starting with it. But know what you mean for sure.

That's really great Alex! The only thing I kept waiting on and didn't see is a 3/4 or more shot so it shows your body movement.
Hmm, very strange! Sorry guys, not sure why, the link in the text box is the working, but maybe clicking on the preview window takes you to the old link. But here is the right link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah7Ta9ws9ME fingers crossed this one is ok. :-)
That is what I found as well Alex, but clicking the text instead of the preview worked marvelously

Thanks Abigail. Yes that's something that's come up before. The last clip is slightly wider, but yes, not exactly a fill body shot by any means. On a large portion of outside shots of these films, the sound wasn't the best, (mainly worked with boom mic'd set up's rather than radio mic'd recently) so felt opting for quality of footage over technical variety was the best option, until I get footage back from more completed projects. Frustrating! But yeh, itching to get wider more diverse shots in there for sure.
A long due new star is born. Guaranteed.
