One of the things I really noticed when I went to LA last year: dress like you are going to an interview. It doesn't have to be super formal. You need a blend of cool/chic/biz. I had a nice sport coat with pressed pants. Nothing over the top. But I noticed that people noticed. Surprising how many people show up to pitch sessions wearing old t-shirts and jeans. For women, I would advise against a super sext outfit. That seems out of place somehow.
