Financing / Crowdfunding : Advise on finding funds for an experimental short by Alok Kapur

Hello everyone, I'm a Line producer/Exec Producer based in Delhi. India and work on features & documentaries. Currently am working on producing a series of dance based experimental shorts and am looking for advise on finding funding avenues for it (since the project doesn't fall under the category of a conventional 'short' film). I have a London based award winning director who is in love with the concept and we are looking to get the project going as soon as possible. Also have a partner who will be able to come in with camera and edit equipment. Any leads / advise would be appreciated folks. thanks
