Did my first pitch by Skype to Tristar. Got the script requested. Will be booking many more pitches now. 8 minutes is also a good amount of time compared to other events where you only get 5 minutes. Thank you to Joey and his team. Highly recommend this to writers on Stage 32
Great job!

Boomer, Marcia, Darren and Dawson, thank you for your kind comments, I'm very grategul. I did two more pitches on Saturday, to a management company Writ Large and to a production company 3311 - and got script requests. Speaking directly to people in this business is so much more effective than writing to them. Good luck in your writing
That's wonderful! Well done. Keep us posted on how things progress.
Good to know, thanks for sharing your experience.
That's fantastic news Niraj.

I love those type of stories and how technology helped you pitch a story
Best of luck. Fingers crossed for you!! I have to agree with you about the time. I attended a pitchfest in which you had 5 minutes to pitch. Even though I had my pitch down to 1.5 minutes, it still didn't leave a lot of time to speak to the producer and answer his questions. But, there were a lot of writers there and the event probably would've lasted all day if the pitches were longer.
