I'm interested in hearing from those of you who found your manager(s) here on Stage 32. Specifically, I would like to know if you jumped at the chance to be managed by the first person interested in your work, or if you shopped around a little. What should I be looking for in a manager? Thanks ahead of time!
I'm curious too.
Thanks, Chad. will do.

They truly have a reason to be all excited. There are tens of thousands of people who write screenplays every year. A large number of these people (like me) have written dozens if not hundreds of queries over the years, without so much as a response (negative or positive). If they revel in the feeling of vindication, let them eat cake for a while!

Perhaps a good chocolate stout!

Jaime I think my advice would be to email Joey.... he knows EVERYBODY. I think the route to go through Stage 32 Happy Writers is to PITCH to the people Joey has lined up... it changes every day ... some are financiers, producers, agents, junior execs... so wait for a MANAGER... and PITCH... All the best to your sweetie... it's much easier then query letters. On Stage 32 if you're not comfortable at first.. you can send in a written pitch and as a first-timer.... I'm sure Joey will assist you. :-))
