Stage 32 arranged coverage with a production company executive of my one-hour TV drama pilot, which included a live consultation. This is the second time I have used Stage 32's coverage program. Both experiences have been tremendously beneficial and the analyses have been thoughtful, helpful, and supportive -- much, much better than the "coverage" afforded by screenplay contests. Both times concrete suggestions for improvement were offered as part of the package and the overall tone was the executives truly wished the projects to succeed and devoted the time to help move things along.
Awesome feedback Jim - thank you for sharing!
I've had the same experience, Jim. It's a great service. Thanks to Joey.
Can you give me some advice on how to access Stage 32's coverage program as it sounds like the path I want to follow.
Joey beat me to it. He never sleeps, you know. Here's the link just in case: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/coverage. Scroll all the way through, and you'll see genres, then execs w/in those genres. Then go to IMDB and check our their companies, what they've done, and consider selecting one(s) who has worked on project(s)/themes/concepts akin to yours.
Nice to see that S32 Coverage is working for people. How long did it take for you to receive your coverage?
About two weeks. And the coverage was a one-hour phone conversation. First time I tried that. An earlier coverage of a different script was written (about 8 pages long). There are advantages and disadvantages to both types of feedback, and as I recall there's an option to purchase both rather than only one method of feedback.
